- Our Mission:
Our mission is to establish peace within ourselves and in our world, through the mutual respect and honoring of our different faiths and cultures, and through participation in interfaith intercultural events and gatherings.
- Our Purpose:
The purpose of the Interfaith Interculture Committee is to introduce and provide avenues for our centers to start or join local interfaith communities. The Interfaith Interculture Committee promotes peace and communication between persons of different faiths and cultures via dialogue, shared experiences, and interfaith services and events.
- Our Vision:
It is our intention to foster and grow the consciousness of peace, mutual understanding, and fruitful dialogue by participating in the wider interfaith work in our communities. We build peace through communication. We construct the bridges over which people of all faiths may walk. We develop unity and meet in mutual respect and understanding via communication and interaction with peoples of all teachings, religions, and cultures. Our vision to accomplish "Peace in Our Day" deepens our ability to communicate, cooperate, and actively listen to others. This endeavor begins locally and moves to embrace the global community.

As we move forward, each one of us visioning peace in our day, we move together, linked in love. The IIC is here to serve and invite you to participate in interfaith, intercultural events and forums in your localities. We provide the tools and the inspiration for your ICSL Center, to start or to recommit to your local interfaith community.

Below are a few simple, yet immensely effective actions that your center may choose to engage in and promote:
- Interfaith Intercultural Dinners: International Centers for Spiritual Living centers can sponsor annual potluck dinners featuring foods and tastes from cultures around the world. Invite interfaith intercultural members in the community to participate.
- Films: Films educate while they entertain.
- Interfaith Intercultural Cafes: In a café-like setting, persons of all ages (teens through seniors) and faiths dialogue and learn about each others' lives and ideologies. Thus, we deepen our own awareness and have an opportunity to listen and to understand others.
- Interfaith Speakers Forums: These forums allow participants from myriad faith traditions to speak on a variety of subjects in a panel format.
- Fundraising Events: Bike-a-thons and walk-a-thons promote communication while raising funds and having fun. The fundraisers are targeted to raising money for each participating center, as well as the local interfaith community. We recommend a 50/50 split.
As we bring this movement to our centers and localities, we are creating opportunities for the change we desire to see happen in our world. We are unity in diversity in action! We are the butterflies whose wings affect the wind patterns halfway around the globe.
We invite you, the community, to join us by sending the Interfaith Interculture Committee your contact information, your questions, and the interfaith intercultural events in which you participate or sponsor.
We are here to assist you and invite your comments and questions.
We welcome your presence.
